Information about the Joint Laboratory
This laboratory will develop knowledge, intellectual properties, products and services based on new technologies for the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with neurological and psychiatric dysfunctions (Brain Disorders). The characteristics of this laboratory will be:

Develop technologies for early detection of cognitive and sensory problem in disadvantageous population like children and/or aging people with cognitive disabilities and strategies of intervention.

Improve methods of treatment and rehabilitation in neurological and psychiatric disorders applying forms of neuromodulators, stimulators, robotics, neurofeedback and brain-machine interfaces.

Promote the high tech industrialization in China and Cuba.
